Art institutions – once dependable and stable guardians of visual culture – are currently undergoing major structural change shifts. Moving beyond the traditional remit of the public museum, they are becoming hybrid organisations at the level of funding, governance, mission and programming. In such a fast-changing scenario, we believe that the role of education is central to engaging with audiences in an effective and relevant way. From this perspective, the transmission of knowledge, and the enhancing of professional standards are fundamental to our endeavour.
Our educational activities aim to explore new ideas and practices about institutions, enhancing the collaboration and synergy between artists, academics and professional in the art ecosystem. Our programmes encompass talks, seminars and lectures, and workshops, frequently in cooperation with museums, galleries, universities and entities dedicated to both the teaching and learning of art.
