Art institutions – once dependable and stable guardians of visual culture – are currently undergoing major structural change shifts. Moving beyond the traditional remit of the public museum, they are becoming hybrid organisations at the level of funding, governance, mission and programming. In such a fast-changing scenario, we believe that the role of education is central to engage and communicate with audiences in an effective and relevant way. From this perspective, the transmission of knowledge, and the enhancing of professional standards are fundamental aspects of our endeavour.
Our educational activities are guided by the desire to explore new ideas and practices about institutions, enhancing collaboration and synergy between artists, academics and professional art fields. Our programmes encompass talks, seminars and lectures, and workshops, often occurring in cooperation with museums and galleries, universities and entities dedicated to both the teaching and learning of art.
