The Foundation promotes interaction between the public and private art sectors, with a specific emphasis on the role, meaning and function of art institutions. Accordingly, we undertake research into primary and secondary sources and maintain a productive dialogue with experts in relevant fields of art production, distribution and reception, with the goal of maintaining a position at the cutting edge of current enquiry. We also support individuals and organisations who engage with innovative and experimental practices for the benefit of both artists and audiences, through collaborative activities such as workshops, symposia, and networking events.
We are strongly committed to the sharing of knowledge and research outputs to our community of institutions, artists, art professionals and academics, periodically producing a series of publications, including reports and forecasts, to be shared with professional specialists and the general public. These documents are the result of long-term, thematic research projects, as well as responses to investigations on trends and developments taking place in the art field.
